Feedbrake

Feedbrake blocks only the infinite short-video feed: TikTok For You, Instagram Reels and Home, YouTube Shorts and Facebook Reels. It does not block the app. Messages, search, profiles and the camera keep working.

• A limit per app

  For each app, pick how much feed you allow: blocked, N minutes a day or N videos a day.

• Three blocking styles

  Shield, Cover or Redirect. Swipes and volume keys stop moving to the next video; tabs and the rest of the app still work.

• Pause with friction

  Pausing protection takes a deliberate step, so a reflex is not enough to turn it off.

• Focus sessions and schedules

  Start a strict focus session with no pauses, or set the hours when feeds are blocked.

• Quick Settings tile and widget

  See and change protection from the notification shade or the home screen.

• Weekly report

  Once a week, a short summary of how many feeds were blocked and how much time they took.

• No account, no ads, no analytics, no crash reporting.
• Everything is processed and stored on your phone.
• The detection rules are public and cryptographically signed, so you can read exactly what the app looks for.
